Chameleon use DMC unbleached perlè no.8 100% mercerized cotton as thier base thread. Perlè cotton is a hard wearing twisted thread with a beautiful sheen and can not be separated. It is used in, for example canvas work, counted thread embroidery, crewel work and free style embroidery. Perlè Cotton no.8 comes in 16m skeins.
